Service Animal Project

Founded in 2012, Service Animal Project identifies, assesses, fosters, trains and transports shelter and rescue dogs with the characteristics needed to become service dogs for our active military and veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).  We partner with programs that will provide a fully-trained service dog at no-cost to the warrior.  This is SAP’s contribution to saving two lives every time a shelter dog and a veteran are paired.
